Meridien Marinas - Win a lifetime of marina berthing - Competition terms and conditions 1. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 2. Promotion commences 21/05/2009 and closes 11:59pm (AEST time) the day after the last day of the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show (25/05/2010). 3. To enter the competition you must: (a) Own or part own a vessel registered in the entrant's name, or acquire one subsequently (b) Be 18 years old or over at the time of entry. 4. Only one entry per person 5. The prize will not be transferable to another person, this includes; renting, leasing and sales. 6. The prize is at maximum a 16m berth at any of Meridien Marinas locations including; Airlie Beach, Port Douglas and the Gold Coast. This will be subject to availability. 7. To enter the competition you may enter on-line via the Meridien Marinas website www.meridienmarinas.com.au, or other websites linking to the online entry form or complete a 'register your interest' form at the Meridien Marinas stand at events including; boat shows. 8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible registrations will be deemed invalid for the purposes of this promotion. 9. Meridien Marinas accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected registrations. 10. Meridien Marinas reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. 11. The winner will be judged on the best response to the question 'In 25 words or less tell us why you deserve to a win a lifetime of free berthing? 12. Registering your interest after the specified closing date of the competition will automatically be classed as an invalid form and will be not be included in the competition. 13. Meridien Marinas reserve the right to amend the competition end date at any time. 14. If you win the competition, Meridien Marinas will notify you by phone and e-mail. The judges' decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 15. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in as much promotional activity and material as Meridien Marinas may reasonably require. 16. By entering the competition, each entrant agree that Meridien Marinas may use their personal information for future promotional and marketing contacts without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. Entrants may receive marina and boating news and information by email newsletter from this website but will be able to easily unsubscribe from that newsletter, should they no long wish to receive it. 17. The maximum term for the marina berth is 25 years and is non-transferable. No part of the prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize. 18. Meridien Marinas accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. 19. To the extent permitted by law, Meridien Marinas will be not liable for any loss or damage which is suffered or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained by the winner as a result of accepting/using the prize. 20. The winner of the prize will be given 30 days to claim their prize. 21. If for any reason the winner does not claim the prize within the time stipulated by Meridien Marinas, the second placed entrant will be awarded the prize, if not claimed, then it will be award to the third placed entrant and so on until the prize is claimed. 22.
